This is the first course in the Google People Management Essentials specialization. In this course, learners will be introduced to the foundational principles of effective people management, starting with the crucial mindset shift from individual contributor to team leader. Learners will explore Google's research on what makes teams effective, including the importance of open communication and a culture of learning, and will begin to explore how AI can enhance a manager's effectiveness.
