Once you complete one of the certificates listed below (pathway 1 or pathway 2), you can skip taking admissions tests and paying application fees. New student enrollment steps

Enrolling in the Master of Information Technology is a straightforward process. To secure your spot in one of our five annual start dates, you will begin by choosing one of two pathways below. You will need to provide proof that you have earned one of these specialization certificates.

Pathway 1: Show proof of completing the Hardware and Operating Systems Foundation Certificate

Pathway 2: Show proof of completing the Google IT Support Professional Certificate.

Steps to register for the program

Click “Enroll now.”
Sign up for an account with Illinois Tech.
On the enrollment form, select “Yes” when asked if you have completed the Google IT Support Professional Certificate within the last three years or the Hardware and Operating Systems Foundation Certificate.
Submit your certificate information for verification. You can expect to be contacted regarding approval within five to seven business days.
Once approved, the certificate will count as three credits, securing your full admission.

Already in an open content course from Illinois Tech on Coursera and looking to upgrade to the degree? Your process is similar to that of new students! The upside is that your course progress carries over when you upgrade.

You only need to take the capstone to achieve the certificate and upgrade to the degree.
