I like how this course is structured into bite-sized packets of information that kept me engaged during this course. This course was easy to understand and has inspired me to continue my path into Cybersecurity. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in Cybersecurity to learn more about it.

This course is a great introduction of cybersecurity. It doesn't teach the specific technical details of cybersecurity but it prepares for the upcoming parts of learning journey. It describes basic ethics and compliances a cybersec guy needs to avoid any type of misdeeds during the initial part of job.

It was a great odd job to complete it. It demands hardworking with consistency and repetition to inculcate in the heart and mind. It is very interesting. Had I been known about it earlier, I would have learnt it much earlier. Stay blessed all organizers who are working in the best service of humanity.

This class was packed with valuable knowledge from start to finish! The pacing was excellent—fast enough to stay engaging but never overwhelming. The summarizing videos were especially helpful in reinforcing key concepts and made everything easier to understand. A well-designed and informative course!

Loved the course! This course informs you about the responsibilities you are expected to hold on the job as a security analyst. This course also introduces diverse roles, concepts, actors (gov, organizations, laws, compliance, frameworks and associated actors,...) and tools used by security analysts.

I have always searched for a comprehensive foundational explanation of the core concept and components of cybersecurity and Course 1 of this Training have presented me with more than I had asked for. Very user friendly and it really focuses on the base level of cybersecurity. I am an Army Vet with my Bachelor's Degree in the humanities but this certification is going to propel me into the cyber field. Google has done a lot of research and preparation in this course and it shows in their delivery.

This course was amazing, even though I had been in cybersecurity, I really wish I would have had this class as a basic part of my job as it would have given me more knowledge and a better understanding of Cybersecurity. This course is the groundwork you need in order to make you way into this field.

With very little understanding of cyber security, there is alot of valuable information presented in this course. Having no prior experience in this field the classes are presented in an easy to understand format to pass along what is needed to know and what is needed to be drilled into your mind.

The course was thorough without feeling repetitive, and I learned a lot throughout the process. The lessons were well-structured and easy to follow, and I genuinely enjoyed working through each section. Overall, it gave me a strong foundation and made cybersecurity feel approachable and engaging.

Great introduction to the foundations of cybersecurity. I had no knowledgeable background on this whatsoever and this unit left me feeling confident about the basics. The detailed reading tasks, to videos and quizzes provides a variety of learning techniques in one making it interesting to learn.

It gave me so much, opened my eyes, learned a lot of things got a certificate i can show off. Simply amazing what is google and coursera doing for people. Just strive to be better every day and it will pay off some day. Thanks again to my teachers and people in coursera who made a great course.

Foundations of Cybersecurity in Coursera is a course that introduces the basic concepts and terminology of cybersecurity, such as threats, vulnerabilities, frameworks, ethics, and tools. It is part of the Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate and the Managing Cybersecurity Specialization

At the beginning of this course, I had never had any expectation of being so attach with cybersecurity and beginning to find my interest. I am so glad I was able to complete this course and enhance myself into a new field.

Very good for a quick introduction into Cybersecurity. Many of the modules were vague and referred to future courses, but I trust that the statements made will be fulfilled and many topics that I find to be mysterious regarding Cybersecurity will be adequately explained at the appropriate time.

Excellent course for those who want to start with Cybersecurity career. Lots of terminologies which would definitely help progressing and continue with other courses. Cybersecurity is broad and understanding the basic would give a good foundation for your next journey!
