The course is frustratingly outdated and provides only very superficial explanations. While the assignments themselves aren’t inherently difficult, they can be challenging if you don’t already know the material—especially since the course hasn’t been updated in over 10 years. Even when you complete tasks correctly, you often don’t receive any acknowledgment or credit because the peer-review system fails to process your submissions. This makes the course feel unrewarding and leaves students stuck, despite putting in genuine effort. Overall, it offers little practical guidance, and completing it without external help is unnecessarily difficult.

This course is quite disappointing. Many essential materials are missing, especially the files needed to follow along with the lectures. Without them, it’s nearly impossible to keep up. Additionally, the files provided are outdated—some from Revit 2019—and because of Revit’s version compatibility issues, you can’t open them properly in newer versions like 2020 without risking data loss. Unless you go through the hassle of installing an older version, the files lose important information. It’s incredibly frustrating.

No proper guidance given as to where to start up from and straightaway y'all begin with importing files and editing. This makes it difficult to catch up with the videos and also no proper resources are being provided for the lecture as other courses on Coursera. I really disliked the course very much

La explicación del instructor no es tan exacta. El contenido de los videos omite detalles que son importantes para realizar las actividades independientemente. El acento del instructor es aburrido y simplemente se limita a leer en inglés.

Good content. Grading system is TERRIBLE!! Assessments are reviewed by peers and not controlled. You may fail and redo assignments multiple times, although you know and understand all the content.

Many Sample Files are not provided. therefore we are unable to practice what teacher is teaching.
