This course overall is really good, sometimes I do have a tendency to feel left behind as sometimes items could be described in layman's terms to help beginners grasp a clearer understanding of the concepts as the terminology can often be heavy whilst trying to pay attention.

The course was good. Little fast paced for a beginner but great class. My lab didn't work until the very last day, so I was blind to what I was creating. The learning center for help was no help, but the other students really came through. Over all, I would take it again.

This is not the back-end course. All the material is front-end development. Good material but now I have a certificate that says Introduction to Back-End development when it should be front end. I couldn't find the flag icon to report the problem with this course.

In my opinion the self-review sections aren't particularly helpful as I can more or less fudge it to pass - whereas the graded assessments are much more useful as it forces me to engage more with the course content and apply myself a bit more.

The name of the course is Introduction to Back-End Development, but the focus of this course is front-end technologies, course name should be updated accordingly. Course content is pretty basic and suitable for new learners with no background.

The course teaches the basics of internet, html, css and bootstrap. The overall structure of the course was good but I feel that lectures were a little bit rushed and the tone of the instructor was devoid of any humour and even felt robotic.

Overall knowledge is brode and shallow. It's not high-level knowledge and task are way to easy to complete. However it gives you some basic knowledge about web techology. It's good to complete it to know in what direction you should develop.

A very nice and gentle overview of web technology and toe-dip into the front-end frameworks and libraries needed to develop reactive web apps. I imagine if you came in with no HTML or CSS experience this would be unlikely to frustrate you.

The course has provided a broad and high-level overview of back-end development. I am not quite new to the topic, but found the content useful, especially with regard to UI libraries and frameworks, and commonly used protocols.

Good to start understanding HTML/CSS. React part of the course - week 3 could have been explained a bit more in detail even though at the cost of increased tenure of the course. Post this course I only know what the theory is.

the course itself is great, the subtitles are very annoying, doesn't syncronized with the audio for most of the video, making it very unpleasant experience. i'll change my rating if the subtitles alredy fixed

This was a great course! It showcased the basics of web development, even managing to teach me some Bootstrap too. However, I will say that despite the name, the focus is not solely on backend development.

Great intro to back-end development, however I felt Week 3 was a bit rushed with the Bootstrap topics. Overall, I would recommend this course to anyone looking for a quick introduction to web development.

Overall, It was good! A great start for someone who is just setting foot inside the web development community. Looking forward to take the upcoming course and dive deep into these certification program.

This intro is a gentle overview of the front end, for many like me, it is a refresher course that adds new skills to old capabilities. I look forward to diving more into the back end of development.

Do I need to learn javascript? in this professional certificate it wasn't mentioned that we need to do the front end course but in the videos it says that next lesson is javascript but it is not

The name is sort of misleading. should be named as "Web developement overview" becuase it mostly covers concepts like how Internet and web works, front-end developement and technologies.

Pretty good intro to HTML and CSS although with so much crammed in and relatively few exercises, the reward you get is really down to how much the individual student chooses to practice.

I found this course informative but there is one problem with this course. It is titled Introduction to Back-End Development, but mostly Front-End Technologies are introduced in this.

Very high-level intro to front-end development which is exactly what I needed. However, I hate that it is AI generated. It lacks a soul as is disorienting at times. Still 4/5 overall.

All it takes really is building a sound technical knowledge of how things work. And i am happy this course help in even improving my knowledge on things i knew, and things i didn't.

There is one bad moment.

In several tasks you have to guess right code. Page looks as expected, but grader has rules which are not described in task, so it get some nerver from me.

Some sort of portions could have been explained through videos like more css frameworks rather than displaying a content to read Anyway Great learning through out Thank you

Overall the course is solid, and provide a good, but broad understanding of the topic. An area that could be improved is the assignments, they feel a bit too guided and easy.

Course is good. Topics are slightly off from the intent of this course. Weeks 2-3 are mostly on HTML/CSS/Bootstrap which are more related to Front End Development.
