课程概述

This course is designed for everyone—professionals, executives, students, and enthusiasts—interested in learning about generative AI and leveraging its capabilities in their work and lives. It is your first step toward understanding the power of generative AI, driven by models such as large language models (LLMs). In this course, you will learn the fundamentals and evolution of generative AI, with additional readings and expert insights offering a deeper view of its history and advancements. You will explore its capabilities across text, image, audio, video, virtual worlds, code, and data, with key takeaways and enhanced summaries at the end of each section to reinforce learning. You will understand the applications of generative AI in industries such as IT, finance, healthcare, education, entertainment, and human resources. You will also discover the features of popular tools and models, including GPT, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, and Synthesia. Hands-on labs provide opportunities to practice using IBM Generative AI Classroom and tools such as ChatGPT. You will also hear from industry practitioners sharing real-world insights. Interactive activities, podcasts, and scenario-based exercises help you apply concepts, while a final practical project consolidates your skills by generating and refining outputs across multiple formats....

Love the in-depth discussions of utilizing GenAI in everyday applications, especially from industry experts and how they managed to use it for their own advantages

I have mixed feelings about the course. Exercises are fun, but the course didn't provide almost any new information for me. I'm working in IT so I could hear a bit of theory before the course. And I've used ChatGPT/Gemini couple of times out of curiosity. So I wouldn't say that I'm experienced with AI. There were few details that course explained but how knowing what "GPT" stands for can help me to use GenAI effectively? The course provides a lot of info, which, I think, is widely known. It provides tons of different examples of how GenAI can be used, without any details. Like, it claims that GenAI can be used in fraud prevention, but how? Instead of explaining few real-world examples, the course keeps bombarding with new and new examples. At the same time the content felt overwhelmingly repetitive, especially in the first module. I've got that GenAI can generate text the first time! I'd expect courses to be more academic, here I've heard a lot of buzz words. Reading includes duplicated paragraphs, which makes it obvious that materials were not properly revised.

I believe this course is superfluous and redundant, and it does not add meaningful value to my training path as a Generative AI Engineer. For someone who already uses generative AI on a daily basis and actively applies it in practical workflows, including AI-assisted coding, most of the material is already well known. The course mainly covers concepts and practices that experienced users are already familiar with, without providing deeper technical insights or advanced techniques. Additionally, it feels unnecessary even within the Generative AI Engineer learning path itself, since there is already an introductory course before this one that covers many of the same concepts. As a result, this course ends up repeating previously introduced material rather than building upon it in a more advanced or technically meaningful way. Furthermore, the labs do not feel particularly meaningful or educational.

This course packed all the important information into videos and had little to no written reference material to go back to and learn from or use as a clear roadmap. As someone who does not learn well from video instructions, I found it very difficult to get the information I needed. I wish there were more written resources, especially for which LLM is best for each use and what their limitations are.

The videos showed too much information about too many applications in a very compressed video. Had a hard time keeping track of so many similar applications. Examples were cool. Wished it was more mobile-friendly. Hard to do the course on the go. Had to wait to get home to do this were I have too many distractions.

While the course provides a broad overview of generative AI, it is let down by excessive verbosity and repetition. Simple ideas are overcomplicated, and the use of AI voiceovers throughout felt exclusionary for neurodivergent learners, massively reducing accessibility and engagement.

This is my OPINION: Nicely prepared material but way to outdated. Part of Lab exercises is not working (I mean in https://labs.cognitiveclass.ai) a Dall-e model(s) are not functioning (I have submitted a ticket and the problem was not solved after a few days, maybe will be later).

Some of the AI experts chosen for this course have heavy accents that are difficult to understand. It's nice too have a transcript to follow along with. The course itself it very repetitive. It doesn't build any skills that Introduction to AI doesn't already cover in-depth.

Unimpressed. More IBM marketing than I expected. If you want a something focused on "look at some of the neat things you can do with Generative AI in 2023" then this might be right for you.

AI narrated slidedecks, repetitive expert interviews with strong accent, unrelated video and image filling material. tests are too easy (purpose?). low learning per time ratio

Pretty basic. It is too basic to be part of Gen AI for "Software developers" specialization

En realidad es mejor tener un listado y para qué sirve cada uno, para tenerlo como guía.
