Very good content and camera. Very interesting interviews with business leaders and experts. I liked everything except that I would have liked to sometimes go even more in detail. More analysis and evaluation of Scandinavian business cultures and more figures would have been nice.

Dr Strand does an excellent job of providing the historical context and a case study of Novo Nordisk to provide the basis for the repeated success of Scandinavian companies in Environmental Sustainability and Social Responsibility.

Thoroughly enjoyed as the course and it questioned my pre-existing notions about sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Very insightful conversations and interviews!!

A pretty important subject, but it lacks a structure and doesn't feel complete

The online course was very interesting and motivating at the beginning. But then it became quite repetitive. To be honest, if anyone utters the mere names of Milton Friedman and Michael Porter again in my presence, I may go mad...
I found the focus on Scandinavia very useful. It was a good idea to base the teaching on the example of Novo Nordisk and have a lot of interviews. Nevertheless, I would have enjoyed a more concrete approach on how to implement and infuse CSR at every level of the company. It felt like we could have gone deeper into examples of implementation.
The evaluation process is not fair. You don't know, when you submit your paper, that you need to achieve an 8 out of 9 to get the certificate. There are 3 questions :
- First question = 1 point
- Second question = 4 points
- Third question = 4 points
When one marks 3/4, your grid says it's a "strong response". So a learner can actually get 1/1 +3/4 +3/4, meaning the top point for the first question, and then two "strong responses", and NOT get the certificate. I am a teacher and my experience tells me that it is not fair. The criteria should be announced both before you submit your paper, and before you mark others' submissions.
On the whole, I have learned a great deal.

Nice intro to Sustainability in Scandinavia and Scandinavian culture. A bit repetitive and very focused on a single company (it would have been good to compare against what other good and poor CSR performers in the region are doing). Not a particularly taxing course (takes a couple of days to go through) and very easy (almost insultingly) assessments.

The content is somewhat relevant. The relevant parts are extremely useful. Problem is, that very often we can observe a debate in the ivory tower of academia without practical, evidence-based content. Also, the structure of the course is bleeding. The final grading is peer-based so it is a pain and you don't know when and how you receive a certificate.
