The DBA course is a bit complex. I think the course materials and videos should explain things in a simpler and more detailed way. This would help beginners like me understand the concepts better and learn more effectively. Complexity of the Course: The course content feels difficult and challenging. It may involve complex theories and concepts that are hard to grasp. Need for Simpler Explanations: The user suggests that the course should include more straightforward and detailed explanations. This means breaking down complex ideas into easier-to-understand terms and providing more examples or step-by-step guidance. Benefit for Beginners: By making the explanations clearer and more detailed, the course would be more helpful for beginners. It would make it easier for new learners to understand and learn the material effectively. In essence, the user feels that the current explanations are too complex and that simplifying them would improve learning, especially for those new to the subject.

This course is worse than others in the specialization, giving a very basic information, for some reason labs are in different rdbms-es which overwhelms without much of knowledge. Test questions suppose you memorize things from the video you watched once. I did it as a part of specialization otherwise I don’t recommend it.

The course taught a lot, but there were a few "Readings" which should really be transformed into Hands On Labs to get more familiar with the practical application. I hope that can be implemented for future learners as it really helps to solidify the difference between the logs and when to use them.

too many technical errors

Absolute disaster. IBM provides 0% support here. Cannot even access to IBM DB2 lite plan. First tried 50 times to register and I dont know how, I succeeded; however, cannot create Lite account on the provided servers, therefore, cannot even start this course or any else because IBM is total garbage regarding support and their communication with Coursera.

There is no moderator if any assignment reviewed wrongly. Also support is not at fruitful and its waste of time. Giving one start for bad support and shallow content.

The materials are not clearly defined. Trying to explain everything in every 5 minutes video; which is very tough to catch for a beginner!
