For a Mac user like me, I need to figure out how do some features function on Mac myself and all contents are based on Windows version of Excel.

This is a great course.  I am a first-time Excel user, but now I am much more confident in my newfound skills.  thank you, coursera.

This course is too focused on semantics rather than applications of what is trying to be teached. SO many times i've lost points in a test because the question asked about a path that no one uses to use a tool, while i could still easily use it, just through another way. Not only that, it's also filled with trick questions where 3 answers sound almost the same but with very dubious wording where you just have to guess. And don't even get me started if you are using a different version of Excel than the one used as reference in the course. Literally learned more from a Youtube course than this.

It was a good intro to excel, however if you are a mac user note that all course materials instruct for the windows version. Additionally, due to the limited format of quizzes, they stooped to silly questions such as is it in the open dialog box or the open dialog view box with simple pedantic differences.

Well mad course but peer review simply doesn't work as people just grade work a 0 without reading it.

Unfortunately, this has been the least satisfactory course I’ve taken on Coursera so far. The course content appears to have been assembled hastily and superficially, with significant reliance on AI-generated material. Several links within the course materials are broken, and the structure is cluttered and difficult to navigate. The submission process for the final hands-on assignment is problematic — limited to Google Drive (which distorts your carefully prepared Excel file) or OneDrive (which often prevents access to peer review submissions). These technical limitations significantly hinder the learning experience. It is evident that the course was developed with minimal resources, and this is reflected in its overall poor quality. I regret to say that I cannot recommend this course. On the contrary, I strongly advise others to avoid it. To enhance the quality and learning experience of this course, I recommend the following improvements: Content Quality and Structure Ensure that course materials are thoroughly reviewed and curated by subject matter experts, rather than relying solely on AI-generated content. Organize the materials in a clear, modular format to improve navigation and accessibility. Technical Functionality Fix broken links and test all embedded resources to ensure they function correctly. Provide more reliable and user-friendly options for assignment submission that preserve file formatting (especially for Excel files). Peer Review Process Improve the peer review system to ensure consistent access to submitted assignments and feedback. Consider integrating the review process directly into the Coursera platform to avoid issues with external tools like OneDrive or GoogleDrive. Course Development and Investment Allocate sufficient resources to course development, including instructional design, platform integration, and learner support. Support and Communication Provide clearer guidance and support channels for learners encountering technical or content-related issues. The AI assistant often doesn't have answers.

Absolutely disgusting website, They won't allow you to download the Certificate in the Trial period even if you've completed the course. Very Bad experience with Coursera. They should've mentioned this trap before enrolling someone, Although I've submitted credit card details, but still this Sh*t is happening. Will never recommend this website.

The course was professional, and overall, not lacking much. But I believe the guidelines could be delivered more simply, especially regarding absolute reference. Certain complex topics were quite challenging therefore I urge the Microsoft team to consider this aspect in a positive light.
many thanks,
