Very shallow course, lacking practical examples and applications. Instructor basically just reads from the slides, which are in themselves terribly repetitive. The example of a Cloud-based Data Governance tool is not useful at all, just a quick demonstration of how to create a new project in Amazon DataCloud.

This course is okay for an introduction to data governance. I am glad I audited the course, as I don't think it is worth paying $49 for. There were technical glitches with a couple of the quizzes. Also, the narrator was a bit difficult for me to understand.

It would have been a lot more helpful if all the concepts were given with a fictitious company. The demos of the different software should have been optional b/c only applied if one's company invested in those very specific technologies.

This is by far the worse course I've taken across multiple platforms in the last two years. The course is heavy on bureaucratic labels and weak on explaining meaning. It feels very outdated and heavily weighted to old, slow, and bureaucratic organizations. The material could have been presented in 1/3 of the time: there's a huge amount of useless repetition and padding. A five minute video typically consists of 1 minute 13 seconds of intro and course summary plus 20 seconds of summary at the end, leaving 3 minutes or so of content. That wouldn't be so bad if the content was good, but it isn't. Most of the content feels like it was extracted from a textbook, or even worse, product data sheets. The AWS DataZone demo was stunningly useless. I'm left wondering if the presenter has every actually done any data governance work. If they have, I don't see it in what they've done. Just awful.

Presented in a very simple and easily digestible way - many great take aways to apply to my organization.

I like the content and a great course to refresh data governance knowledge.

The course is so beneficial but the instructor needs to explain more of the data terminology and put data admin, data steward and custodians in a diagram. I had to use external resources to understand some of the course aspects. Thanks.

Me hubiera gustado que no hiciera tanto incapié en el uso de una herramienta de una plataforma específica (AWS). Con una visión más acotada hubiera sido suficiente. Incluir preguntas de dicha herramienta en la evaluación final, creo que está fuera de lugar.

The content was repetitive. There's a large section focused on specific governance tools, which is not relevant to class introducing data governance fundamentals.

Very difficult to understand accent of presenter, content full of typos and errors, lots of time was spent repeating the course outline in a short course, several lessons focus on one part of AWS account management for no clear reason.
