This course urgently needs a critical update in labs and tests. Azure SDK for Python is now in V2 but this course shows examples for V1, that will be abandoned by september 2025. The links to exercises are broken. It´s hard to learn this way to be honest.

None of the labs work

The module of Week 1 is very helpful and interesting since it capture parts of Data Analysis knowledge and terms.

In week 2, the concepts of different basic Machine Learning algorithms and models are also easy to understand, straightfully, not a 'wall of text' but concise theories and explanations.

In week 3, they already provided the notebooks that you can run and investigate how they work on the jupyter environment of Azure. You also learn how to create a Azure compute resource that will be used to run the Machine Learning process.

One of the drawback is that the Azure required such free trial subscription or a student account, so there might be cases that people find it difficult to create one or they have tried it before and the subscription has expired. But well this might be a rare occasion I believe. In overall, this is a wonderful course to help you engage with the foundation of Data Science and Machine Learning.

Not much about Azure, only Deep Learning exercises are done using Jupyter Notebooks in Azure environment. Course is a quick review of what different method of ML are. If someone didn't use them before, I think it would be hard to understand what is happening.

Great introductory course that helped demystify Machine Learning and gave me a strong foundation of reading python code. The structure of the python code helped break down key concepts that were gained through the knowledge share videos. Highly recommended and great job by Microsoft and Coursera.

Condense but solid course on ML basics. AND first time I was guided in a cloud provider for ML use cases without having to shed tears from frustration. Very good to gain first familiarity with Azure.

Really annoying and very hard authentication puzzle where you have to identify matching items 15 times. I want to learn, not spend my time doing stupid authentication puzzles.

The course is really effective in providing material that will reinforce the learning process; audio learning, hands-on labs, visual learning, quizzes, and final review test.
