However, a greater dive into the applications of it all, in a more complicated scenarios that are closer in approximating real-life situation, would have been great.

It has median difficulties level even for non-finance background or without related work experience. The course work is challenging but can be accomplished. The explanation by the lecturer is easy to understand. The knowledge gained is helpful in my personal investment.
