Thoroughly enjoyed the course. Thanks for the information that I was privy to in exploring the mechanics and ellectronics of the computer. I was completely surprised that I was so unaware of how intricate the computer was. I like being able to not only view the components of the computer while listening to the narrator but also read the materia, take notes, and revisit anything I may have missed in the lecture.
This Course is beginner-friendly, and covers all the fundamentals of hardware and Operating Systems, If you are new to computers or want to know how hardware works on the surface level this is a good course for all these. There's some great introductory material in this course, and overall, it was very helpful for filling some gaps in my foundational IT knowledge. However, one thing that really bothers me about this course is that it often tries to compare different operating systems in the context of a particular topic but doesn't actually provide comparable information. For instance, Module 7 (the bonus module, which is fresh in my mind since I just completed the course) is all about exploring operating systems beyond Windows, but it doesn't take a similar approach for each OS, showing how one concept applies similarly throughout each OS. The videos on macOS include a walkthrough of some of the basic navigation paradigms of the system (desktop, dock, menubar, etc.). This approach is very different from the Linux lessons in which the learner receives some very basic info about the Linux distros and open source ecosystem before being thrown into the deep end with a hands-on lab asking them to navigate Linux via the Terminal. The learner needs more instruction on how to navigate the Linux UI, how the file system is structured, what the Terminal even IS and some of the basic commands they should know before they do the exercise. The exercise itself basically assumes the learner already knows how to run Linux terminal commands. I'm glad I had some experience with that, or the exercise would have been nonsensical to me.
El curso me gustó mucho, pero me pareció que en algunos puntos va y vuelve, como si quisiera explicarle a alguien que no tiene ningún conocimiento, como a otros que si lo tienen. Es más, si no tuvieran esos mínimos conocimientos, no sé cómo estarían haciendo el curso. Este razonamiento, puede deberse a mi edad, (66) ya que yo lo hago desde mi PC de escritorio y a lo mejor, otras personas lo hacen en una Tablet o un Teléfono celular, pero al mismo tiempo no profundiza sobre puntos que si me parecen que deben ser profundizados o no hay una serie de links que hagan que el participante, deba o quiera profundizar en algún tema. Además, me gustaría agregar que desde el navegador EDGE, el curso se ve con problemas, no así desde el Google Chrome, el indicado para utilizar en el curso. Pero siendo este un curso mayoritariamente de Windows, me resulta extraño que no se pueda ver correctamente.

A good operating systems course should provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of operating systems and how they work. This includes topics such as process management, memory management, file systems, and device drivers. The course should also cover how operating systems interface with hardware, including how they handle interrupts and manage resources.
The course is well-structured. Perfectly suitable for anyone who is interested to learn about hardware and operating system. I just don't find that Linux part useful. I mean the platform used is not as interactive and easy to use. Overall, fun and good experience with the course. Thank you!
