This is by far the most engaging and interesting Coursera course I've ever took. It's absolutely worth spending your time. The auxiliary materials are brilliant as well as main lectures.

Overall very good course content and with lots of additional reading materials. The presenters really know their content and are pleasant to listen to, easy to understand and follow.

There was however this one thing I would have loved to see a little more and may be these were just my personal expectations based on where I am coming from and what I was really looking forward to learning. A little more depth into story telling and more examples and exercises or quizzes that upped my knowledge and grasp. While "group dynamics" and "dealing with questions and objections" were all very important aspects of influencing, I was looking for a little more emphasis on the story telling side of it. Anyway - great content, well structured too.

One feedback I would like to leave for the presenters is that at times I found the Acronyms a little forced or "one too many". The one with the many "I"s at the end ... just too long and forced, not very intuitive. But can't deny that it covers a lot of valuable perspectives and thought.

This is my first time on coursera, I just think that the quizzes to pass are a little on the easy size; did not challenge me enough and very often did not cover many aspects of the topics covered.

Thank you Lawrence and Arabella - loved both of you for your own styles and approach and the love both of you have for sharing knowledge.

Very good course content and generally well presented. Arabella tends to over-act much of the time, which can sometimes become a little irritating, but at no point does any of the content become dull. Very SALES-oriented content, becoming more so as the course goes on. I'm an engineer who wanted to communicate technical ideas with impact, in meetings with technical leaders and management. The early stages of this course helped with this; the later stages were interesting, but of less direct use to me. A number of those bits that WERE applicable, though, have been communicated to others in my team, as some are EXTREMELY helpful to all of us. All in all, very good.

It was a very good guidance through the whole topic, and you tell me a lot of examples, that can help me in different situations. But there are two points I felt not comfotable with. The first topic is that I can't practise by my own with your or the class feedback. Maybe, this is due to the online format. The second point is that the longer the course takes, the more I felt it was especially for sales people. Sometimes it was really difficult to find the link to myself. I have to present my ideas, my results and my knowledge. This aspect is not treated in the course. Maybe you can adopt the course a lit bit, so it matches perfectly for me too.

The course was very helpful, it helped me alot in job interviews and dealing with people with different background, the course is full of acronyms which is very hard to memorize then all, hope to make it like the diagram in the last week which was very helpful and understood to me, by the way thanks for your efforts and special thanks for Arabella and lawrence.

Great concepts, but too many to learn at once, maybe breaking the last week in two would help better learning the structuture and also, give more examples of how to apply these skills in different business areas (ie. for who doesn´t work in marketing or sales). It´s impressive how Anabella applies the concepts and skills taught in all her videos/lectures.

This is really helpful for all the professionals who are dealing with people, both the trainers are very clear in delivering the intended and meaning content without any unwanted things. Every second in this course is really interesting and will recommend it to others too without any doubt.

Very good course, great presenters, very personable. Well structured.

My only complaint: the transcripts are often incorrect. I imagine they are made with a software program, but somebody needs to check and correct mistakes. It subtracts from the professional appearance and content.

Overall a very engaging series of lessons and articles. I thought the maybe the first lesson and a half /week and a half were not best set up to engage with the audience but it definitely picked up after that. The presenters /course leaders are very good.

The course is more focused on communication than story telling. I believe it could add more value to tackle the problems currently faced with the new off site business model where smiles and body language are not as influential and important as before

Complex methods well explaines. I recommend this course to anyone who is looking for an initial induction in communications techniques.

The only reason why I didn't select 5 stars is because I missed more practical exercises

Really useful course but this type of content would benefit from having additional course notes covering the main points so that I could refer to it in future (i.e. when looking to structure presentation slide packs, etc)

The instructors gave a clear explanation completed with an example or two. I personally think that this course will be better if there is any practical assignment to see or give suggestion for the learner's understanding

I found the Ted Talks and reading articles to be super helpful and will probably refer back to them in the future. This class made me feel more confident about running a meeting or giving a presentation.
