I found this course to be both well designed and interestingly presented. It kept my attention and has made me crave for more Python. I have already signed up for another course!

This course is very well-paced, organized, engaging, and fun, and Dr. Severance brings a lot of enthusiasm, passion, and humor to it that you might not expect in your typical computer programming class. Amazing course for beginners who want to pick up on Python. For the more ambitious student, it might be better to have another book with more exercises because the course don't have too many. Overall, Dr. Severance does an amazing job of presenting the material! Easy to understand and very entertaining.

I have attempted to learn python before but found it boring and difficult. However, after this course, I have not only grasped the basics of python, but am also moving forward to learn even more. I have also found the textbook 'Python for Everybody' incredibly easy to understand. Overall a 10/10 for me.

This is the best course for getting started with Python. I have done this course in specialization of Python. In this course I have learned the basics of python and willing to learn more. Dr. Chuk is really nice instructor. I liked this course very much and looking forward to complete my specialization.

Very well structured course content. Easy to understand and follow. Just don't forget that the included exercises do not automatically make you an expert so if you want to enroll make sure to set aside a bit of extra time for additional reading and hands on coding to really make the most of this course.

If you are a complete beginner in the Programming world then this course here is the perfect platform to kickstart your coding journey. The instructor always makes sure that he explains each technical jargon in simple relatable English and his way of teaching is good. He never makes his lectures boring.

This course was an amazing introduction to programming in Python. Dr. Severance does a great job introducing the material and walking the viewer through logic exercise/implementing code. Chuck is a very good teacher, he using the simply example to explain the complex thing, and most "simple example" is genius ideal, they must be pay a lot on the background of the class. I learn python is for extend my technical knowledge and for more working opportunities, I trust the class can help me.

I just finished the first course in the specialization. Dr. Severance is excellent! He is the best computer science teacher I have ever had. The example codes are simple, but insightful. He takes his time explaining the concepts step-by-step. He makes learning python as easy as eating a taco. Seriously.

I'm not a beginner in the field of programing, so I can't tell how friendly this course is to one's who just started learning coding. But at least for me, this has been a great experience since the course is content filled and the exercise is interactive enough for me to put the knowledge into practice.

Teacher Charles is doing a wonderful job to me, a very beginning learner. I've never thought I could take a programming class, and I didn't know if I can do that. Professor is really interesting during class video and with proper level of assignments help me more understand the materials I learned.

This is a perfect course for people who are absolute beginners. Maybe you've never written code before or you have very little knowledge. The course doesn't make any assumptions about what you know and basically teaches you the building blocks from scratch. Basically, you're learning the ABCs and 123s.

Awesome course! Dr. Charles has a great personality and breaks down material into simple statements that anyone can understand and follow, and the resources that are included that he made are a great help for the coursework.
