Wow! did i complete first chapter?. Thanks to Coursera for interactive tools and problems. these tools and discussions excites and keeps you in loop until you complete.

It is an excellent course for students like me who has no prior knowledge of coding. Excellent lectures with interesting exercises helped me learn the basics of Python.

This is my very first course on Cousera and it's really a brilliant one. Thank you Dr. Charles, Univ. of Michigan and Coursera! I will continue my study in Python here.

Very good intro, can be completed much faster than the timescale stated if you are an existing programmer, but gives plenty of time for someone brand new to programming

Very clear lectures, with nice slides. It takes a while, but this course definitely makes sure that you learn the important aspects of Python! It has helped me a lot :)

Basic introduction to programming in python, covers things like the language syntax, loops. etc! Forms the foundation for the rest of the courses in the specialisation.

An exceptional approach to keep one engaged and cheerful all along the course! Mr. Severence is a genius. This course is a must for all programming beginners out there.

On capstone now... really good introduction to programming & computer science. Absolutely loved the weekly interviews with the legends in the field of Computer Science.

Great Course and superb professor. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in learning about computer science. Can't wait to begin the next course of the series. :)

This course is excelent. Professor Charles is amazing explaining, makes programming very easy to understand. Wish I had this course when I started Algoritms in college.

A very nice way to start programming!!! Everything is explained properly and the exercises make you understand and remember the code. I can fully recommend this course!

loved the class. Structure was perfect for me! instructor explained things in a way that was easy to understand. TA responded quickly with super helpful suggestions.

In this course DR. CHUCK explaining very neatly about python and Interviews of great persons ilke interview of founder of python (Rossum) I really enjoyed it very well

Pros: It was relatively easy but at times challenging. 

Cons: The quizzes won't let you review what you answered wrong, why is it wrong and memorize the correct answer.

Thorough, well-paced course, quick to immediate feedback on assignments, and informative lectures complete with very helpful transcripts for retroactive reference. :)

This is the first course that I competed on Coursera, and also my first course about programing. This is a really good course, and know I can at least read some codes!

Python is the most intriguing of all the programming languages I've been introduced to lately. Simply loved it! Thank you, Coursera, Charles and University of Michigan

I have found this course very useful and informative, it has covered all the basics of python which any beginner needs to start his/her python or data science journey.
