It was a really helpful course for me . It not only cleared my doubts regarding programming and its objectives , but , It also improved my programming skills and my knowledge of python . Regular Quizes and Assignments helped me a lot in improving my coding skills too .

One of the best course for a beginner. This course teaches you python in the most simplest way and Dr.Charles Severance is the finest teacher I have ever had. If you are a beginner then this course is for you. Go ahead and you will develop a deep interest in programming.

I have taken other Coursera courses and I must say I am impressed with the structure of this Python course. I really enjoy that you can work at your own pace and the lectures are structured in a great way that allows for understanding nuances of the programming language.

Fast pace and to the point for learning what you need about Python to get into data analysis and tool building right away. Instructor is clearly spoken, engaging, a tad silly in a nice way and will geek out about all aspects pf python, computer science and your success.

I learnt a lot from this course. One of the things that I appreciate the most from Coursera is that the Deadline system, which help me push myself coding all the time before due date.

Also the professor and all the mentors are all so nice for teaching and solving problem.

It was my first internet course ever, so I was a bit unsure as to what it might be. It was great, educative, and the professor made the lectures fun. The inability to talk and ask questions to the professor is a challenge but at the same time a great learning experience.

Love this course. Was previously using only Codeacademy (which is a great program also), however, as a "first time programmer" I found the basics very difficult to understand. This is really rounding out my understanding and I love your vision for accessible education.

The course was a great start to learning Python. I went in with a little bit of programming knowledge, but this course really helped my understand the basics of syntax structure and understanding the basics of more complex functions. The course was also well structured.

For someone who has no programming experience, this course was great not just because I was able to repeat lectures, but because I was able to slow down and review the details I felt more confident. I am DEFINITELY NOT a programmer just yet, but this was a great start.

Great course. Pace is perfect with Proffessor Chuck guiding you step by step through the process. Course is scattered with videos showing real world application of course material and explanation of how the hardware marrys to the software constantly keeping you engaged.

Although I have been passed programming language at the university in Iran, I have never seen someone like Dr. Chuck with excellent teaching ability. I try to enroll in Python Data Structures course to complete my knowledge and benefit from Dr. Chuck excellent teaching.

The explanation and exercises are seemed very do-able for a new coder. I am new to Python, but experienced in coding in other languages and still learned a bit about fundamentals. After completing this course I would be comfortable to start a small project in Python3.
