Solid course. I learned a lot, however I do wish there were more interactive quizzes / small projects throughout

It's a great overview of the basics, I enjoyed it! There are no coding tasks, though, only quizzes. The value categories subject doesn't mention R-value subcategories. This is not something a begginer would want to know, but the course is not for complete beginners.

Concise, compact course. Very well put together.

I learned C++ about 20 years and haven't used it since. However, I wanted to brush up so that I can use it again in the future. I found this course very useful to catch-up with the additional features from C++11 through 17. For this purpose I found the lectures perfect. The course could benefit from hands-on work. The coach sessions were fairly good (only one hiccup that I recall), and the multiple choice questions were fine, but this is a programming course that does not require students to program. Active learning could really drive the topics home. The course (or maybe the specialization) could really benefit from including features from after C++17. It's almost 10 years old now and I would not describe C++17 as "modern C++" anymore. I do not recommend this course to someone new to programming. I'd really recommend having experience in C++ already or at least experience in C.

The course material and pace is good but the interface to ask questions can be improved. For example, user interface can make it easy to ask for answers or additional questions by providing a button rather than a typed input.
