In this module, we take an in-depth look at a real-world business where generative AI is deployed in a complex environment. We'll examine the end-to-end process of designing and implementing a generative AI-based learning assistant at the University of Michigan, which provides 24/7 Q&A support to thousands of students. This case study will highlight key lessons on selecting the right business area for AI transformation, integrating the appropriate data, and deploying strategies to maximize value and ensure success---concepts that we'll expand and refine in the next courses.

In this closing module, we will unpack the case and concepts discussed so far, and explain the key terminology that defines the specifics of how generative AI functions.
