Videos are too short and superficial so you end up memorizing sentence by sentence to pass quizzes. Not a learning experience.
Videos are just quickly reading slides, quizzes give unhelpful feedback for incorrect answers and just say "watch the video again".
Signed up for Applied AI and suddenly IBM and Coursera decided to update the program to AI Developer program. Thumbs down, I only committed my time for 7 courses, but now you added 3 more courses and I can't continue anymore. Wasted my time big time!

Este curso es una excelente introducción práctica y accesible al mundo de la ingeniería de indicaciones (prompt engineering), especialmente diseñado para quienes recién se adentran en el uso de modelos de lenguaje generativos (LLM). Lo más valioso del curso es que no se enfoca solo en la teoría, sino que enseña cómo pensar al interactuar con la IA: cómo formular preguntas, estructurar instrucciones, y elegir el enfoque adecuado (como Chain-of-Thought, Tree-of-Thought o patrones de entrevista) según el tipo de problema. Los ejemplos son claros, los ejercicios bien diseñados y los conceptos se explican de forma sencilla, sin requerir conocimientos previos de programación. Además, aborda temas muy relevantes en la actualidad, como la mitigación de sesgos, la accesibilidad y el uso ético de los prompts, lo que demuestra una visión integral más allá de la mera técnica. Una posible área de mejora sería incluir más ejercicios prácticos interactivos con herramientas reales (como el Playground de OpenAI o IBM watsonx), pero en general, el curso cumple perfectamente su objetivo: empoderar a los usuarios para comunicarse de manera efectiva con la IA generativa. Fue una excelente experiencia ya que ahora conozco los usos importantes que se le pueden dar a la inteligencia artificial, aprendí sobre las grandes ventajas y capacidades que podemos aprovechar u obtener de los modelos de IA Generativa, utilizando Ingeniería de instrucciones o (Prompt engineering), ya que nos ayudan a estructurar un texto aplicando sus técnicas para que el modelo IA Generativa puede interpretar la informacion y comprender la instrucción y de esta manera generar textos, imágenes con un resultado optimo, ajustado las necesidades especificas del usuario. Por otro lado, quiero darle gracias a todos los colaboradores y al equipo de Coursera en general por su gran aporte y gran trabajo. Y por ultimo, conocí esta plataforma gracias a la recomendación de un profesor de un Diplomado que realice en Análisis de Datos con Python, hace casi dos meses, agradezco mucho a este profesor ya porque me ha parecido genial, es muy amigable, intuitiva e interactiva lo cual me ha animado , e impulsado muchísimo a seguir creciendo profesionalmente; esto también se debe a la calidez, profesionalismo, respeto y sencillez, que he conocido en la comunidad de Coursera en general. ¡Infinitas gracias!

En pocos días, logré comprender a profundidad los conceptos clave de la ingeniería de instrucciones para IA generativa.
