An amazing course giving a holistic view of the field of Data Science. Moreover, it tells us how this field is changing the world around us by giving us valuable insights. Among other things, it also gives a sense of confidence to those who are just starting out in the field. Overall, spectacular course.

it's very helpful for me, in videos you can find it very easy to explain about the data science and what you need to do be come data science. also explain about the data science life and how to prepare report after analysis the data. i really thanks to coursera for helping me to learn about data science.

This was a lot of fun and really teaches you the basics of What is Data Science. As someone who is still trying to find their path as a senior year in college majoring in English, data science is a lot of fun, and this course made those thoughts and ideas concrete to go back to school for Data Science!

This course was excellent! I enjoyed the combination of videos from real live data scientists and targeted readings each followed by a mini quiz that taught concepts in bite-size chunks. The hands-on project was straightforward. I went into it confident that I could adequately perform the peer reviews.

A fabulous course and a must for early birds into the world of Data Science and Machine Learning. You will get to know all the terms that make up the world of data science, will get a chance to work on IBM's Virtual AI system on its Watson platform and learn the importance of data in the 21st century.

In reality, the course is so well-furnished that I am able to learn the basics of data science. There are details about which skills you'll need to acquire to be a good data scientist.I recommend that everyone start with the well-furnished course if they want to easily get into the data science world.

Awesome content, made it so interesting while watching these videos. Honestly not getting board. Course content are more informatic and encourage you to go further and achieve it your desire goal. Its makes you eager what would be the next and boost your excitement and positivity to learn confidently.

This course is the right choice if you want to find your footing in data science. Besides the obvious trio of computer science, statistics and mathematics, understanding your field is key to being a data scientist. The videos help motivate the learner as he or she takes the module's (week's) readings.

I think it does a good job of explaining data science and it takes to be a data scientist. However, there are a lot of typos in the quiz portions of the course, especially the ungraded ones during the videos. Some could be hard to follow or understand for those who English is not their first language.

very nice so far, i previously used to wonder and get confused what data science is, its usage and related stuff but this introductory course has weaved all relevant questions to their answers in a wonderful manner and i feel satisfied , enthusiastic about pursuing data science from this step onwards

The goal of understanding what is Data Science and the opportunities involved is totally achievable after taking this course. I am satisfied and aware that in order to have competent skills probably takes not weeks but months or even years. This is an introductory course and I strongly recommend it!

In spite of being from a different background i acquainted with this introductory course on data science very smoothly and now i know basic things which an entry level data scientist should know. As someone who is new to the field of data science, this was a really good introductory course that provided much-needed information and insights. I loved the course content and format of frequent evaluations towards knowledge check that ensures that the concepts shared through videos and reading material are understood by the participant then and there itself. Very useful and simple to understand, I feel the course material is very effective.

I really enjoy this learning trip as its my first one. I benefit a lot from Doctor Murtaza who wrote that book and many colleagues in Data Science. I really appreciate this platform makes me know such a group of friends with same interest. Best luck to you all! See you in next course.

Very good for anyone who just looking to understand what is data science, and considering to get into it. Very recommended for those who are doing industry research for career, maybe for high school students or university students, also for workers who are looking for adding skills / career change.

this was a great course, because it illustrates all the concepts that is related to data science like; difference between deep learning and machine learning, what is meant by big data, when the word data science showed up and many many awesome case studies on how we use the data science in our life

Decent starting point for a 9 course schedule. I did find a few grammatical and spelling errors along with some inconsistencies between the course materials and actual work but I think that makes it more interesting and forces you to figure it out for yourself - a big part of learning how to code.

Excellent material ,very clear and well organized especially for beginners. I learnt so much from what is Data science and what do Data scientists do and the impact that data science has in the business. The tutors are talented in breaking down the material in a way that can be easily understood.

Highly recommended for beginners to get an introduction to Data Science and decide if they want to pursue a career in Data science. Thanks for wonderful content. Just a suggestion is to update the content around Watson Studio as IBM have changed the UI and the slides confuse the student a little.
