We describe the iterative nature of data analysis and the role of stating a sharp question, exploratory data analysis, inference, formal statistical modeling, interpretation, and communication. No esperen técnicas específicas matemáticas; más bien, es una guia o "mapa" para no perderse en el análisis de datos e identificar las etapas del analisis de datos desde el principio hasta el final (presentación de resultados).
Muy recomendado para entender los principios básicos de análisis desde cualquier nivel o formación.
