I recently completed the Foundations of Cybersecurity course, and I must say it was an eye-opening experience. As someone with a non-technical background, I was hesitant to dive into the world of cybersecurity, but this course made it accessible and engaging.

I've liked the way in which information was presented: clear and well organized, easy to follow. The tests were in good agreement with the given information. The quality of information and the presented topics give a quite complete landscape of cybersecurity.

I didn't know about cybersecurity at all. The only thing comes to my mind is hacking in the movies before taking that course. But this course gives an overview of the full cybersecurity domain that i cannot even explain. The course was very beginner friendly.

Amazing course for beginners! everything in the course its well explained the instructors are knowledgably and the classes are fast paced. I am absolutely loving this I am so excited to complete this whole Cyber Security Program. I absolutely recommended it.

The information is current and very easy to read and and understand. This course is perfect for me as I can sign in on my phone or my tablet and get the same experience. I am really glad I found this option over enrolling into school for thousands of dollars!

A cybersecurity course covers topics like fundamentals of cybersecurity, networking, secure coding, cryptography, incident response, compliance, ethical hacking, and security tools. It equips students with skills to protect digital assets from cyber threats.

I loved the thoroughness of the content in this course. My only issue is the lack of flash cards / practice. Some portions of the course have flash cards and there is the AI coach but, I am not a huge fan of typing paragraphs to answer AI practice questions.

I was skeptical at first, In my opinion this course is well designed and easy to follow. It definitely helped me take better notes. I'm 37 and looking forward to a complete career change going into cybersecurity. It gave me more confidence in pushing forward

Great overview for cybersecurity and I am looking forward to the following courses. Each topic was explained very well and in non-technical ways. I do wish it was more interactive though, such as more questions during videos or games to test knowledge added.

I found the foundations of cybersecurity course to be very interesting. There was a good amount of material I already knew, but the course helped to explain even the concepts I knew or knew of in a way that made it make more sense. Loving this course so far.

This Foundations of Cybersecurity is really the best course to introduce and get learners interested in the field of cybersecurity. This course has changed my viewpoint of the sector and I am more determined to be a big part of the world of security analysts

Congratulations on Google + CIEE, this was the best course I've ever taken. I will give a 10 for all the details of the course, the teachers are the best, with very simple teaching but at the same time very accurate, with an ease in explaining every detail.

Very good description of the foundations, one thing that could be added is the OSI model, although it's slightly complex and might seem intimidating to new learners it would be great to give an introductory overview of the 7 layers and what they accomplish.

I have learned a lot about the basic fundamental of Cybersecurity. Interesting and moving forward till the end of the course. Looking forward to learn more and experience what Cybersecurity is all about. Here I come to the next chapter of my life. Thank you

I've checked out other sources, and they're not bad in teaching this field, but Google's Cybersecurity, I have found is the most understandable and easiest to understand. Whoever put this course together, I applaud you on your excellence. Kathleen Bowman

It was easy to understand and very informative. Even though i know most of it already since i have been into this stuff for years now. I am just getting a Validation for my Skills and Knowledge and i hope this will proof i have what it takes to do the job.

I would like to thank Coursera and team who enable us to learn courses about any skills and programs with free access and with verified Certificate. I will be nearly taking more courses if I get financial assistant from Coursera and sponsored institutions.

Course material is very comprehensive and can be understood by non IT person, plus testimony from many practitioner in Cybersecurity based on their experience really give insight me how cybersecurity implemented in and its benefit impact in organization.

Excellent course. For those who are just starting out in the field, it provides all the necessary fundamentals to help you decide whether you'll love cybersecurity or hate it. Jokes aside, it's the first step for you to start your career in cybersecurity.

In this course, I learned more about cybersecurity foundations, which are very clear-cut. In the future, you guys do more studies in this field to get a variety of opportunities in this field. And I'm now get confident that I will get a job in this field.

This was a great introduction to Cybersecurity. It kept me engaged as well as I feel like I learned something (and it stuck!). The tests were not to difficult as the learning material was very clear (this coming from someone who is a terrible test taker).

This course contains essential terminology and concepts to begin a career in cybersecurity. How does one think like a professional? How do you prepare your statement to showcase your skills and attitude? All these components are important for a beginner.

I thought they were good foundational courses that familiarized me with the vocab, regs, and tools used to be successful. I particularly liked testimonials from instructors who transitioned into this career and hearing about their journey getting there.
