Too hand-holdy. The hands-on labs tell you exactly each step to take to complete them, rather than giving you an objective. I wish the course had something like that to do while watching the videos so you could follow along, then a lab where you have to complete a certain objective using what you've learned without being spoon-fed the individual steps. I feel like I am not going to retain what I learned because I never had to remember anything on my own.

Not compatible with google sheets. As a skilled google sheets/excel user, having to take so much time doing "peer reviewed" work which simply does not work due to file incapability is ridiculous. Then to move on to being force fed IBM self promotion is also ridiculous. came to learn python but not even making it that far due to the nature of the course is laughable at best. Youtube will work just as well

not organized. Car sales data sheet to practice with, where was that?? previous lesson had you download some Indian start up funding sheet that you barely use and then it is on to a car sales data sheet that they don't tell you where to access. Keep with the same practice sheet for continuity

The actual lessons using Excel could be better, for example at the beginning of each chapter clearly show people where to get the excel file, you should be able to download it and follow along with each lesson.

Good course content however peer graded system is unreliable. Received a fail grade for the assignment, resubmitted with no changes and received full marks. Would expect better from a course I am paying for.

The commands are out of date, some of the tasks don't really work, and functions are not explained or broken down so that students can adapt them to different use cases. Would not recommend.

Does not have a simple process for completing the course. You need to review other learners work and you need to rely on other learner's ability to score your work.

The final project has a major issue (instructions and file information for other students does not match the file provided for me to work on).

should include instructions for working with desktop version of excel

Horrible - AI grading does not work and wastes my time. After putting much time into the course to learn the concepts and apply them, AI says things are inaccurate and missing in my uploaded files even though Excel itself does not find these errors (spelling, duplicates, extra rows...). Now I cannot move forward to the next course and am wasting time trying to get help which I cannot seem to find (so common these days). No human help. It does not leave me with a good impression of Coursera. Also the AI voice in the videos is incredibly annoying. To learn pivot tables, had to watch videos outside the course. The examples in the course were not good ones - too much data and data I do not recognize, that is meaningless to me so looking at a pivot table for the first time, I could not make sense of it or see it's value.
