This Coursera course on CVs, cover letters, and interviews is a great introductory resource. It’s brief, yet contains some useful material for getting started. While helpful, it’s not as in-depth as traditional career guides—books like What Color Is Your Parachute (which the course itself recommends) offer a more comprehensive approach. If you’re serious about career preparation, it’s worth investing time in such books or exploring other modern career guides alongside this course. On a personal note. CV's and cover letter are not the problem, especially nowadays that are prepared covering all bulletpoints that professional HR managers are recommending. ChatGPT can prepare you an excellent CV. The problem with job hunting is perseverance to stick to fight finding a job. Is how much you and your family have access to professional networks. The problem is nepotism and the endemic problem of the Capitalism in the 21st Century. AI, speed of transformation, tremendous mismatch from graduates skills and industruies/ professional needs, the problem of new small startups that cannot provide good in house training are some of the big problems. More and more firms do not provide good training. The HR team, with all the above mentioned, is part of the problem. They do a very epidermic scanning of professionals, people with great potentials, and seek a perfect match based MOSTLY on experience. Finding a job is not about CVs, but rather about systemic matters on how capitalism and your national Institution work. Search the web and see for yourself that STANFORD Uni graduates, top students from excellent other Higher Educational Institutions, do not find easily a job and strive for a career. Why? Therefore, this course is good for 15 to 18 yo teenagers. To have their first grasp with the application methods on finding a job. Excellent job from the instructors though. They were kind and funny. Hope I helped.

This course is made by the University of Pennsylvania and lasts about five weeks. This course was created to help people who want to improve the quality of their English and advance their careers in the global market. Each week in this course you will learn many things. In this course, the material presented by the teacher is quite easy to understand because of the explanation through the video accompanied by subtitles. Each video will include several questions using the questions that have been presented in the video. In addition, there are examples of case studies, readings, and quizzes that help me understand the material presented. The material presented in the course is quite useful for me because it adds new English vocabulary related to resumes, how to find a job, cover letters, and much more. Therefore, I think this course is one of the recommended courses to improve my English vocabulary.
