课程概述

Calculus is one of the grandest achievements of human thought, explaining everything from planetary orbits to the optimal size of a city to the periodicity of a heartbeat. This brisk course covers the core ideas of single-variable Calculus with emphases on conceptual understanding and applications. The course is ideal for students beginning in the engineering, physical, and social sciences. Great course. Some of the mentors on the forum board are unbelievably rude and condescending.

Homework problems can be irrelevantly hard sometimes, but overall the course offered a new perspective into calculus

Personally frustrating voice and severe lack of explanation on topics.

The applications had nothing to do with my field of interest. I only completed the course so I can continue to the final part of the series. This could have been a supplementary course, not needed to get the certificate, or change some of the lectures for topics like economics and biology.
