"Automate and Analyze Project Backlogs Fast" is a beginner-friendly course designed for project coordinators, team leads, and aspiring project managers who want to move from simply tracking tasks to proactively managing workflow. In this course, you will learn how to stop being surprised by delays and instead use data to predict and prevent them. You will gain the essential skills to read and interpret key Agile health reports, such as the Cumulative Flow Diagram (CFD), to spot bottlenecks, identify scope creep, and assess the overall health of your project backlog.

More importantly, you will learn how to take action on these insights. Through practical, step-by-step guidance, you will build simple but powerful automation rules in Jira. You will learn to use conditional logic to automatically escalate critical overdue tasks, notify the right people in real-time, and ensure that nothing important ever falls through the cracks. By the end of this course, you will be equipped to transform your team’s workflow, enhance accountability, and use data-driven automation to keep your projects running smoothly and predictably.

A strong backlog keeps Agile projects running smoothly. In this module, you will learn to read and interpret key Agile metrics like Cumulative Flow Diagrams (CFDs) and Control Charts to track workflow progress and spot early risks such as bottlenecks or scope creep. Using real-world examples, you will practice connecting backlog data to team performance and identifying root causes of delivery slowdowns. By the end, you will be able to assess backlog health and recommend simple, data-driven improvements to keep projects on schedule.
